Amsterdam, September 9, 2011. TeamCast releases at IBC a new modulator product range so called MT2, dedicated to DVB-T2 and “DVB-T2 ready” DVB-T massive roll-out.

Rennes, 12 mai, 2011.  DVB-T2 en Finlande, 1er déploiement commercial mondial en mode SFN, l’opérateur DNA Ltd utilise les solutions de modulation en DVB-T2 de TeamCast.
DNA Ltd a relevé un défi ambitieux : celui de déployer la nouvelle norme de télévision numérique terrestre DVB-T2 en mode SFN. Ce mode est un réseau constitué d’émetteurs qui couvrent un territoire donné fonctionnant sur la même fréquence. TeamCast a développé dans un temps record (moins de 18 mois) une gamme de produits complètes en DVB-T2 (modulateurs, démodulateurs), adaptés aux spécifications techniques  de la construction de ce 1er réseau commercial mondial en SFN.
Afin d’aider au déploiement de cette nouvelle norme en Finlande pour couvrir 80 % de la population d’ici à la fin 2011, TeamCast a notamment proposé ses solutions de modulation en DVB-T2, compatibles pour opérer dans des réseaux SFN.

Power4-T2 DVB-T2 Modulator now supporting up to 8 Multi-PLP Inputs.

The newly released S130 software is already available and provides the capability to support multi-service layered modulation (multi-PLP), allowing the processing of 8 parallel PLP inputs. This new feature brings enhanced signal robustness and flexibility in a wide range of possible business models. Combined with the ability to perform SFN MISO transmissions in full compliance with the DVB-T2 standard, it offers a strong leverage for DTT broadcasters willing to operate emerging DVB-T2 networks.
