The RNG0-xx20 is a cost effective Diversity 2 professional demodulator for RUBY and DVB-T professional
modulation, addressing Video Links market. It has been especially designed to operate in difficult reception environment with multipath echoes, noisy channels and Doppler effects. RNG0-xx20 can be easily integrated into a two antenna receiving station to ensure a mobile reception in harsh environment
with continuous signal decoding (no antenna-switching). RNG0-xx20 offers the opportunity to implement the receiver into a network thanks to IP output. The requirements for streaming real-time dataflow can be easily met. This versatile receivers interface with any network standard (Ethernet, 3G, WLAN ...) and replace the need for expensive, proprietary solutions.
High performance & Reliability
Based on powerful DiBcom chips, RNG0-xx20 includes all the state-of-the-art technological features for DVB-T and RUBY demodulation, providing high input sensitivity and robustness against noise and Doppler effect. The MRC (Maximum Ratio Combining) algorithm ensures service continuity thanks to a decision mechanism that computes each of the COFDM carriers.
RUBY Advantages
The RNG0-xx20 demodulates the TeamCast RUBY modulation. The RUBY modulation includes all benefits
of the DVB-T. This standard is especially developed for harsh environment in video links like signal fading, echoes and trees. The signal to noise ratio required is lower thanks to Turbo Code forward error protection. The Doppler frequency can be twice more than DVB-T due to the configurable time interleave.

The advance IP control permits to monitor the receiving constellation, impulse response, Input signal level, signal to noise ratio, and indicative MER.
